Founded in the 1950s by Richard and Clara Francis, Francis antenna began by manufacturing a diversity of fiberglass reinforced plastic parts. As a member of the engineering staff at Owens Corning in the mid 30s, Richard began experimenting with extruded fiberglass around other materials and eventually manufactured what would be one of the first fiberglass CB antennas ever built. Today, Francis is one of the most popular antennas in the market and is known for its uniqueness and reliability.
