Charlotte, NC, January 5, 2011 – TSC Group, LLC, a leading company in the sales, marketing and distribution of consumer brand products to America’s top travel centers is pleased to announce a realignment within their sales force. This realignment will focus on two main segments; independent travel centers and travel store chains. This announcement comes shortly after the TSC’s strategic acquisition of Barjan.

 

The new alignment creates an entire sales team that is dedicated solely to independent travel centers. In addition, TSC will have a separate sales team that will focus on servicing travel center chain locations. The purpose of the realignment was to increase call frequency to all accounts as well as matchup the needs of travel center owners with the strengths of the TSC sales team. The realignment will influence thousands of independent and chain travel center locations across the United States and Canada.

 

“This realignment joins the strengths of the TSC merchandising team with the product and industry knowledge of our independent travel center specialists,” said Todd Millard, Chief Operating Officer. “We are thrilled to have such a diverse focus of talent within our sales force.”

 

“We understand that buying strategies for our customers are very different,” said Watson Boxley, Senior Vice President. “For corporate accounts, buying is almost always done at the corporate level. Therefore, our corporate locations will see an increase in call frequency that will allow a higher rate of efficiency per store. By contrast, our independent accounts have a much different buying model. Our newly formed independent travel center sales team will increase attention and frequency to our independent locations.”
